V. P. of Training/Behavior Marc Street
Marc has been training and rehabilitating dogs for over two decades. He specializes in dealing with “difficult” dogs that no one else can handle. He is Co-Founder/Owner of Very Important Paws. Marc is also President of the Happy Dog Training Inc., founded in 1993, with service areas on Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts and Palm Beach County, Florida. He has performed live training demonstrations at the North American Veterinary Conference, the American Veterinary Medical Association conference and served as a panel member with the late Roger Caras (President Emeritus of the ASPCA). Marc’s professional opinions have been sought on segments of the CBS Evening News, Good Morning America, Fox News Channel, and the American Baby Show. He was featured weekly on “Pet Corner” on Channel 25 ABC News West Palm Beach and has also appeared on news programs in Denver, Philadelphia, Chicago, Orlando, New York and other cities throughout the country. From 1988 – 2001, Marc served as National Director of Training and Media Spokesperson for the Invisible Fence Co. Marc is a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT), Instructor/Mentor for the Animal Behavior College and AKC Approved Evaluator for the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Program. Marc has volunteered his time as a Consultant and an Obedience Instructor at The Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League (Humane Society of the Palm Beaches) and The Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard.
